Bacaro Restaurant in Providence Rhode Island
Leopard Lady says WOW WOW WOW!
What a unique and delicious dining experience with an extensive menu and an outstanding wine list.
I left this place grinning ear to ear and still savoring the myriad of taste explosions from every dish.
I can't wait to go back!
Chef/owner Brian Kingsford with co-owner Jennifer Matta are genius and they are two of the nicest people you will ever want to meet.
From their website:
"This new meets old concept envelops what they believe society is looking for today. It is about giving people a little bit more of what they want and less of what they don't want. The Bacaro experience is as heavy or light as the customer chooses it to be. Whether a night out is about meeting some friends over a wonderful bottle of wine with some prosciutto and grilled figs or summer melons or a full service dining experience, Brian and Jennifer have created the environment that fulfills the senses."
So if you are ever in Providence RI, or you are in any part of New England for that matter (it is so worth the trip from anywhere) make a stop at Bacaro. Your taste buds will thank you.
Be sure to make reservations because this place is always hopping!

Christine Ohlman (what a super chick!) of Rebel Montez
"Perhaps you've seen her singing with the "Saturday Night Live" Band, all towering blond beehive and funky but chic wardrobe. She's got a truck load of sass and a set of killer pipes to back up the attitude..."

Roomful of Blues
This band is top notch! Want a night of swing and rhythm and blues? This is your band. Their full horn section gives the band real pow! Their lead guitarist Chris Vachon is incredible! Clean licks and smooth as silk. (and a hell of a nice guy to boot) Watch for his song "Dynamite" from their CD "There Goes The Neighborhood" on the soundtrack of the new Patrick Swayze movie "Loving Lulu". They have an extremely busy schedule and are all over the US. So go check out their websight and see when they will be cruising through your neck of the woods. You won't be sorry!
